The Art of a Thoughtful Feed: My Favourite Instagram Accounts
There’s a particular kind of quiet joy in opening Instagram and finding something that is genuinely nourishing—a striking photo, a caption so thoughtful I need to screengrab it for later, a post that makes me pause instead of scroll past. In a space that can often feel overwhelming, I’ve come to appreciate the accounts that add something meaningful to my day.
Lately, I’ve been trying to spend less time online in general—though that’s been a bit more challenging since starting Gentle Things—and also trying to make the time I do spend on it more intentional. With every follow and unfollow, I’ve been working on crafting a feed that inspires rather than depletes me.
With that in mind, I thought I’d share some Instagram accounts that I genuinely look forward to seeing—the ones that fill my feed with beauty and inspiration.
