A Few Lovely Things

Hi! Did you have a good week?

I think this post—A Few Lovely Things—will be a recurring and weekly one. Fridays seem like a good day to share nice things—movies, books, podcast episodes, YouTube videos, songs, etc.

And if you have any suggestions for me, I would love to hear them! You can leave them in the comments below, or feel free to message me here.

  1. Bonjour Tristesse—Françoise Sagan’s 1954 classic novel has been remade for the big screen.

It’s the bittersweet tale of Cecile, an eighteen-year-old girl on the brink of womanhood, whose meddling in her father's love life leads to tragic consequences. It’s set on the French seaside, and stars Lily McInerny and Chloe Sevigny,

2. Amy Poehler has a new podcast called Good Hang, and her first guest is Tina Fey.

3. This looks sweet. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything with Carey Mulligan in it that wasn’t great.

4. I will also gladly watch this at some point soon.
